In the wake of the rescheduling, Dutch singer Ilse DeLange has decided to once again move three concerts of her Changes - Club Tour 2021 to larger venues after the interest from fans has been so great: the Stuttgart show will now take place at the LKA, in Cologne the artist will perform at the Palladium and in Berlin at the Tempodrom. Due to high demand, the tour has been extended once again. There will be additional dates in Zurich, Frankfurt, Munich and Vienna.

In her homeland, Ilse DeLange has long been a star. Since 1998, the musician has been releasing albums that have consistently gone gold and platinum in the Netherlands. In 2014, she landed in 2nd place at the Eurovision Song Contest with The Common Linnets, and subsequently received an ECHO in 2015. Recently, she followed up on the success: on May 16, 2020, she reached 2nd place at the Free Eurovision Song Contest with the title track of her new album "Changes."

Ilse DeLange's heart beats for country and Americana, at the same time she repeatedly makes enthusiastic excursions into pop music. Already as a teenager, the musician completed numerous performances with various bands, when she finally hears a manager. Convinced of her talent, the manager then talks to a colleague in Nashville - promptly Ilse DeLange also inspires the Americans with her accent-free singing and fascinating naturalness, gets her first record deal and records her debut album "World of Hurt".

Quasi as an exercise for the young singer, the label spontaneously and without great expectations decides to release the album in the Netherlands before the US release. It climbs to No. 1 in the charts, stays in the Top 100 for two and a half years and sells over 600,000 units. From then on, success is not to leave Ilse DeLange: By 2019, she releases nine albums, most of which reach multi-platinum, she hosts on TV, organizes her own festival called Tuckerville, promotes newcomers on her label and since 2013 has been a coach on the hit TV format The Voice of Holland. In 2014, Ilse achieved the highest placing in the Eurovision Song Contest for Holland since 1975 with The Common Linnets and the song "Calm After the Storm."

Before her participation in the current VOX season Sing meinen Song - Das Tauschkonzert Ilse DeLange wrote her new album "Changes" within three weeks, the recording process began after her return from South Africa. Typical for Ilse, the new longplayer virtuously covers the entire human emotional spectrum, while it is always a concern for the musician to spread hope with her music and she succeeds effortlessly with songs like the touching song "Homesick".

With irresistible energy, "Changes" connects the past, present and future of Ilse DeLange, who, for all her musical adventurousness, emphasizes, "I really like to take risks and love it when the result is open-ended in the process - like with my passionate excursions into pop. But I'll always be a country girl in the end, because the simple stories of country and Americana, where the heart beats right on the surface, is the music I want to grow old with."
