Nobody has given a script and everything happens in the moment. Many things can happen on stage: a skit, a play, a children's play - all at breakneck speed and, most importantly, with huge fun! Young people from the region show their skills on stage on this theatre evening. They have tried out their skills in several workshops of the Nibelungen Festival in the past months. With Jens Wienand (picture) as workshop leader and moderator, one of the improvisation theatre greats of the region could be brought on board. Also taking part are the improv actors Ulrich Jungblut and Neele Leske.
With this offer, the festival would like to introduce young people to self-confident acting in front of an audience and open up a new approach to theatre and to playing with language. Jens Wienand, graduate of the Pop Academy in Mannheim, learned the art of improvisation in Chicago at the famous iO Improv Theater. He is also known as a poetry slammer and comedian.
