Opera by Lucia Ronchetti / Directed by Marcus Lobbes, Kay Voges / Concert performance
So now the play at the Bockenheimer Depot is starting up again. For the start there is a production of the opera "Inferno" by Lucia Ronchetti. The Italian composer has been commissioned by the Frankfurt Opera and Theatre to write an opera for actors and singers based on Dante's "Inferno". Ronchetti, one of the most internationally sought-after composers, transforms Dante's circles of hell into spectacular soundscapes with a large wind and percussion ensemble.
A concert performance in German and Italian with German surtitles.
