Humorphobia - from Greek chymos: [1] liquid; phóbos: fear, phobia denotes a social aversion or hostility directed against cabaret performers, satirists and comedians. 2] In the social sciences, humorphobia is subsumed together with phenomena such as racism and xenophobia under the term "group-related misanthropy" and is therefore not pathologically abnormal. Humour-phobic behaviour is sometimes closely related to stupidity, as outsiders often believe to recognise a person's supposed capacity for humour from their deviation from behaviour and expression considered typical of society.
For three years Ingmar Stadelmann was on tour with his show "Was ist denn los mit den Menschen?". Three years in which he was awarded prizes and won many fans. In 2014 Stadelmann was the "FC Bayern" of German comedy: He won the "RTL Comedy Grand Prix" and the "German Comedy Award" in the category "Best Newcomer". In 2015 he convinced twice: At the "Große Kleinkunstfestival der Wühlmäuse" at the RBB Ingmar won the jury and the audience award!
Now the East German-born Stadelmann goes one better: Ingmar calls his new solo program #humorphob "revolutionary" in his typical modest big-headedness. Although he also claimed this at his last stage show, but then you could still call it brave, today it is true: Ingmar Stadelmann manages in his usual biting way to dissolve the boundaries between cabaret and comedy. Sometimes he wonders about everyday observations in humans, sometimes current politics is his target.
Naturally, his astute look at the capital Berlin may not be missing now! Ingmar Stadelmann did not become a comedy star overnight. This is already prevented by his colour of humour: black, free of pain; but also always hilarious. He's a bit like the Italian restaurant owner who addresses all the passers-by individually in the pedestrian zone and tries to convince them of the quality of his food. It takes a little longer, but in the end the place is always full and the guest completely satisfied!

And so in #humorphob Ingmar Stadelmann faces the battle against humourlessness, with the weapons at his disposal to do so: The humorous Kalashnikov, the punchline hostage-taking, the terror punchline or as a self-gag assassin: revolutionary, charmingly provocative mad!
