Intercultural Festival on 10. September 2017
The Advisory Board and the Office for Migration and Integration organize the annual Intercultural Week in September together with the migrant organizations in Mainz and the initiatives active in migration work in Mainz.
The series of events is an important contribution to breaking down barriers between Germans and migrants. A highlight of the Intercultural Week is the Intercultural Festival around the cathedral, which is known beyond the city limits and gives all Mainzers an annual opportunity to celebrate, talk, laugh, inform themselves and learn more about each other beyond everyday encounters.

One of the highlights every year is the Intercultural Festival. It takes place on Sunday, 10 September 2017, in the squares around Mainz Cathedral and has become an entry point for many people into Intercultural Week.
The Intercultural Week in Mainz
The Intercultural Week, which originated in 1976, will take place for the 42nd time in 2017. Mal statt.
