Forty years of absolute perfection and travels to over twenty countries helped the ensemble from Tambov to international fame. They are also called the "charming ambassadors of Russia". The opulently decorated show, set against a dreamy winter landscape, revives the magic of the tsarist era. Over forty performers create vivid images and accompany them with fast-paced music. Musical, dance and artistic interludes alternate in quick succession. The variety of songs, dances and stories is seemingly inexhaustible. Spectacular and acrobatic with whip cracks and jumps, like backwards into the one-armed handstand, the dancers present themselves in perfection to detail. Artful, fast-paced and rhythmic are the tap-dance-like scenes with which the actors present a foray through the empire of Tsar Peter the Great (1672 - 1725).
