Jacques Palminger, member of Studio Braun and Fraktus, and his 440Hz Trio have dedicated themselves to Jazz from Wonderland for adults. In the process, they dance together lasciviously through sixties Paris, climb endless scales to the most beautiful song in the world, and sail ship through a bittersweet sea of hits.
Palminger's haunting lyrics veer between wicked comedy and madcap drama. The 440 Hz trio, now swollen to a quintet, gathers even more Hamburgers like former Die Sterne organist Richard von der Schulenburg, bassist John Raphael Burgess, Olve Strelow on drums, and Jan Heinemann on vibraphone and Lydia Schmidt on vocals.
