Over the last 20 years of his career, the 40-year-old Brit has built a terrific reputation as a live performer, he has fans all over the world and especially from all camps. Jamie Cullum can play at any festival, he has proven it at concerts together with such diverse artists as Herbie Hancock, Kendrick Lamar, St Vincent or Lang Lang. It has long been known that the multi-talent enriches his shows with all kinds of stylistic elements: The spectrum ranges from moving ballads to wild live sampling sessions or spontaneous beat-box interludes.

His most diverse band projects span the entire spectrum from Brit Pop to Psychedelic to Heavy Metal, before at the age of 21 the final switch is made in favor of jazz. As a young child, Jamie Cullum gained stage experience in his parents' band "The Impacts". As a teenager, he financed his literary and film studies by performing in bars and at weddings, and not least his first album "Heard It All Before", which was released in 1999 in an edition of 500 copies and which he sold at his concerts. This very album can be obtained today only for top prices on Ebay. His talent does not remain hidden for long, in 2003 follows the first record contract with the major label "Universal Jazz". Already the first album published there "Twentysomething" sells three million copies at the first go, his eponymous tour is accompanied by the then still completely unknown Amy Winehouse as a support act.

A total of eight albums Jamie Cullum has released so far; a Grammy, two Golden Globes as well as three Brit Awards adorn the Hall of Fame of the exceptional artist as well as ten million albums sold worldwide for 'Pointless Nostalgic', 'Twentysomething', 'Catching Tales', 'The Pursuit', 'Momentum', 'Interlude' and "Taller", his latest album from June 2019 (number 16 in Germany). He also writes film music, including the theme song for Clint Eastwood's eponymous film "Gran Torino" or the soundtrack to the recent Michael Caine film "One Last Job" (original title: "King of Thieves"). His weekly "The Jazz Show with Jamie Cullum" on BBC 2 is award-winning, the musician wins the ARIAS Award for "Best Music Presenter" at the end of November 2018, he interviews stars such as Sir Paul McCartney, Gil-Scott Heron, Paul Simon, Cleo Laine, Clint Eastwood, Dave Brubeck, Martin Freeman, Kate Bush and Lars Ulrich.

On 11.06.2022 you can look forward to a very special evening with Jamie Cullum in the Jahrhunderthalle Frankfurt.
