Jan Philipp Zymny (born 1993 in Wuppertal) is one of the best-known up-and-coming stars of the poetry slam scene. After he was first confronted with the topic of poetry slam on the Internet in 2010, Zymny simply put himself on a slam stage without any workshop, prior knowledge or warning and participated in the German-speaking championships in the same year due to the success. In November 2013, he was finally crowned German-language poetry slam champion by an audience of 1,300. However, by his own admission, his greatest success is having turned down an invitation to the RTL Comedy Grand Prix. Few people know that he considers doors to be his oldest and worst enemies. Both things we are totally with him on. After his first program (Bear Catapult!) was a haphazard expedition into the shoals of nonsense, Jan Philipp Zymny's new full-length solo show, titled "Children of Weirdness," is devoted to weirdness itself, asking all the big questions like, "Huh?", "What.I.Why?" and "How did you get in here?"
