The rapid rise of England's probably best-known pianist Jason Rebello began in the early 1990s, when the legendary Miles Davis saxophonist Wayne Shorter discovered him and produced his debut album. Jason Rebello then became known to the wider world when he replaced his idol Kenny Kirkland in Police frontman Sting's band.
With Sting, he recorded the Grammy-winning albums Brand New Day, All This Time, and Sacred Love, and toured the world with him on various occasions. Jason Rebello also accompanied Jeff Beck, Phil Collins or Peter Gabriel and the French drummer Manu Katche.
