With this special, saxophonist Stephan Völker, together with Brazilian singer Juliana da Silva, takes a bow to the "inventor of Bossa Nova", Jobim, whose music has been spreading good mood and beach feeling worldwide since the 60s.
The program includes classics like "Agua de Beber" or "Dindi", but also lesser known songs like "Chega de Saudade" or "Favela".
For grooving Latin American rhythms Bernhard Sperrfechter (guitar), Wolfgang Stamm (drums, percussion) and Harold Nardelli (double bass) provide.
