As the world's first and only resident big band of an internationally renowned techno club (the Harry Klein in Munich), the Jazzrausch Bigband knows how to combine the cosmos of unbridled creativity with the high demands of an urban nightlife like hardly any other ensemble. The concert schedule of the young professional ensemble from Munich includes over 90 concerts a year and has already taken them to venues such as Lincoln Center in New York, the Philharmonie in Munich or to the Chiemsee Summer Festival, the FM4 Frequenzy Festival or the Jazz Festival in St. Moritz. During their live big band techno shows, a musical meltdown occurs where the creativity and sonic diversity of a big band meets the effective clarity of a techno club - always surprising, always danceable.
