US-American Jeff Young is undoubtedly a renowned singer-songwriter. Nonetheless, he is one of the most sought-after keyboardists on the international music scene. He has worked with countless major stars - including Sting, Steely Dan, Curtis Stigers, Vonda Sheperd, Alanis Morissette and Marius Müller Westernhagen - in the studio and/or on stage. He is also a permanent member of Jackson Browne's band as a musician and co-writer. Whether Jeff Young is touring the world with Jackson Browne or touring Germany with Westernhagen, he always takes the time to work on his own songs and release his own albums.
With his latest album, Choose Your Own Unknown, Young sets a new standard for his solo work. While the previous albums were already more than successful, "Choose Your Own Unknown" is his absolute masterpiece. Recorded with numerous studio luminaries who otherwise work for stars such as Tori Amos, John Mayer or James Taylor, the production implies a perfection of craftsmanship that can be heard in every note played on this excellent-sounding album. On his German tour Jeff Young (key, voc) and his band will also be guests at the Fabrik. He is accompanied by Marc Inti on bass, Josef Kirschgen on drums and his American musician colleague Marcus Eaton (guit, voc) from Los Angeles, who has also moved into the international spotlight since the release of his latest album "Versions of The Truth".
