Cabaret. Songs. Slides.
Jess Jochimsen wants to reflect. There's a sign on the outside of his local pub: "Closed today for yesterday." That sums it up. In small ways as well as big.
Because yesterday was just too much. today will be closed: the shop, the borders, England, America - "Sorry, we're closed."
But closing up and hoping things will go back to the way they were may be good for populism.
It's not a plan. And boring to boot. So the Freiburg author, cabaret artist, photographer and musician sets out to find out which key might fit which door.
Or whether there isn't a window somewhere.
It's time for some fresh air.
