The Christmas story according to Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.
The story begins with two pregnant women. One is barren, the other a virgin. In their confusion and in the confusion of their husbands, an angel must assist them. A faith begins with the unbelievable. Two boys are born: John and Jesus. John (the forerunner) and Jesus (the breakthrough). The two usher in a new era; love comes into the world, which is new among men.
From the 4 Gospels, Frankfurt theatre Willy Praml has developed a kind of "Nativity play", from the pregnant mothers to the beheading of the Baptist.
An outrageous story, retold for people of today, for young and old, singles and couples and for the whole family.
With this announcement, the Frankfurt theatre Willy Praml first pointed out his adaptation of the Gospels at Christmas 2005.
The great success with the audience resulted in a 2nd part following at Easter 2006: JESUS d`AMOUR, gest./auferst. THE PASSION.
Since then, the theater plays its version of the story of Jesus in two parts each year,
The basis of this theatricalization is the four Gospels.
