Let's not kid ourselves:
Cabaret is more important than ever these days!
The perceived asshole density and idiot concentration, the sackface glut and poop-breath infestation, the general, pumice-stone general dumbing down and presenile general dumbing down, in short: the cerebral rot in this country has always been, subjectively felt, high, but now this dismal fact can no longer be demonstrated merely by experiment, but has palpably arrived in the open for all of us who possess a developed humanoid sensorium, spirit, wit, intellect and taste.
And there in the open land camps Jochen Malmsheimer, ready to stand in the way of this downright encephalic nonsense, girded with the sword of poetry, clad in the long johns of comforting mother wit, and continuing to renounce all pantomime.
For as Erasco of Rotterdam already knew: He who knocks often enough on the hollow gives the emptiness a sound.
