She is young, talented and very familiar with the big impact of small things. Jördis Tielsch rather likes the quiet and melancholic tones. She doesn't have to rumble to attract attention. Jördis Tielsch started learning to play the violin at the age of six, she won numerous music competitions and performed together with the Wise Guys on German stages at the young age of 15. In August 2015, she released her debut album on Sony Music. "Kleine Stadt, großes Kino" was created in collaboration with Frank Ramond and tells stories about the little things that move people. A few acoustic instruments only, plus Jördis Tielsch's very touching violin playing and of course her distinctive, strong and yet very warm, soft voice,- all this has already led to great placements in radio hit lists and appearances in TV shows like ZDF Fernsehgarten or Lichter on Tour. With her current tour program "On the stage of life" Jördis Tielsch presents for the first time songs with lyrics and compositions from her own pen, which are close to life, lyrical, light-footed and with a quiet humor - the start as a singer-songwriter. In December 2015 Jördis was appointed ambassador of the German Children's Hospice Foundation (DKHS) and since then, in addition to her music studies and numerous live performances with her band, she has been actively involved in children's hospice work, which is a great personal concern of hers.
