With the current stage program Johannes Scherer ties in contentwise to the successful predecessor "Asoziale Netzwerke". This time, the comedian humorously deals with the question of whether modern technology eradicates stupidity or even increases it by leaps and bounds. Social networks are noticeably changing interpersonal communication. Everyday life without Facebook, Twitter & Co. is almost unimaginable for many people. Only a few still know the phone number of their best friends by heart or can memorize a driving route for their next holiday trip. These daily observations of the presenter inspired him for his new program. "The sat nav in itself is a great thing. But if you're stupid, you'll just drive into the river when the voice on the sat nav says 'Now, go straight on'. Happens all the time. Does the sat nav actually notice when you're in the water? Does the voice then gurgle and say 'If possible, please turn around'?", says Scherer. The presenter also deals in his new stage program with the kind of language used in social networks. "Anglicisms are a no-go for me. However, there are always exceptions. 'Bubble tea', for example. If we were sold that in German as 'bubble tea', the crowds would definitely be limited," Scherer adds. The audience can expect a humorous program. Johannes Scherer entertains his audience with topics such as for whom a home office is suitable and why the neighbor is out of the question, why we need a new movement "Negative Thinking", what "Fuddel-Omas" are and why we should beware of them or what a "Hippo-Poto-Monstroso-Sesquippedalio-Phobia" should represent. Johannes Scherer became famous for hosting the Sat.1 Breakfast Show "Weck-up" and his many years as a radio presenter at the Hessian radio market leader FFH. Born in Lower Franconia, he gained his first professional experience in local radio at the age of 17, alongside his Abitur. In 2005, he won the "German Radio Award" in Berlin in the category "Best Moderation". At the International Radio Festival in New York, he received several awards as well as a gold medal. Furthermore, Johannes Scherer was nominated twice for the ECHO as "Junior Partner" alongside his colleague Bodo Bach. For over ten years, the presenter has been on the road with various solo programs on comedy and cabaret stages. With his first program "Scherereien" he was one of the ten nominees for the prestigious cabaret award "Prix Pantheon" in Bonn. This was followed by the stage programme "Scherereien Reloaded 2.0", a mixture of stand-up, cabaret and parody. In January 2011, his third stage solo "Asoziale Netzwerke" premiered. In 2012 Johannes Scherer won the Franconian Cabaret Award. Text source and more information about this event: http://diekäs.en/
