Under the name F. Wiesel, Hanke Wilsmann and Jost von Harleßem have been inventing their own theatrical and media apparatuses since 2011, using them to successfully reanimate early film history, dead emperors, Soviet science fiction or universalist architectural visions. The current jury of experts of the Ponto Performance Prize 2017 finds this practice of exploring theatre as a multidimensional model and thinking space so outstanding that the duo is now awarded the Jürgen Ponto Foundation Prize, endowed with 25,000 euros. For this occasion, F. Wiesel is reassembling objects, images, texts, and motors from previous installations and performances into a staged exhibition for one evening at the Mousonturm.
