With now three albums, all of which entered the Top 5 of the Austrian charts, as well as seven no less successful single releases, Viennese Julian Le Play has risen to become one of the most acclaimed voices of our southern neighbours. Numerous tours - partly as a headliner, partly alongside greats such as Revolverheld or James Blunt - have meanwhile made him widely known in this country as well.
His latest longplayer so far, "Zugvögel", released in April 2016, climbed into the Top 20 of the German album charts with its mixture of soulful songwriting and crisp electronic arrangements. Currently Julian Le Play is working on his fourth album, which will surely be finished by the now announced Germany shows in November. Between November 24 and 30, he and his band will make guest appearances for six concerts in Leipzig, Frankfurt, Cologne, Bremen, Dortmund and Munich.
