Kaori Kawabuchi and Shuji Yamagiri founded the group in 2011. The charismatic frontwoman Kaori is a singer and sword artist. Because of her movement acting and virtuoso handling of the weapon, she is called "Lady Samurai" in her home country. Yamagiri accompanies her on the guitar, is as inspired by traditional Japanese music as he is by Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath, which explains his idiosyncratic style of composition and playing, which still incorporates J-Pop. Kamii Hiroharu aka Shamirock and Satoshi Saito aka Sammy are two more instrumentalists on the electric long-necked lute shamisen and drums. Together they bring more of a performance than just a concert to the stage. For Kaori sees herself more as a performing artist who wants to send out positive waves to the audience using her entire body.
