How much space is left in the EU? 1GB!

She is the Berlin correspondent for the Guardian and the Observer. And she is one of the most important observers of the Brexit. She has worked as a journalist for over 20 years. She has reported from over 20 countries. Today she lives with her family in Potsdam. She has a new passport. But does that also create a new identity, a new home? It is definitely a reaction to Brexit. But does that mean she has to become German? Coffee instead of tea, Prussian virtues instead of British politeness? Volkswagen instead of Jaguar? Kate Connolly lets us in on the identity crisis that many Britons have been experiencing since the referendum and describes their bizarre path to a German passport. At the same time, she explains Britain's relationship with Europe and Germany, from her own grandfather bringing back "Mein Kampf" from the war to Margaret Thatcher's pro-EU election sweater. "Exit Brexit" (Hanser) is a wonderfully personal response to Brexit. Fridtjof Küchemann (F.A.Z.) will lead through the evening.
