Since 2011 Benjamin and Severin have been on the road under the name Kids of Adelaide, whether as street musicians in pedestrian zones in the early days or on concert stages two years later. First with small sold-out gigs in Stuttgart's Kellerklub and the Privatclub in Berlin, then with greats like Jamie Cullum, Mark Owen or even Donavon Frankenreiter.
2015 the duo plays at the renowned Zermatt Unplugged Festival and tours with rock icon Robert Plant. In the same year, the "kids" move into Benni's grandma's old house together and build their own recording studio there together with Sebastian Specht. After months of renovation work, the recordings for the album "Black Hat & Feather" are made here, which is released in January 2016 and contains the two singles "Jinx" and "Heart in your Glass".
In2017, Kids of Adelaide finally hit the music market and also toured in France, Netherlands, Czech Republic, Italy and England.
As part of their successful headlining tour "Somewhere in Germany Tour", Kids of Adelaide performed on stage over 30 times. Following this, Kids of Adelaide played at the UEFA Champions League Festival in Cardiff as part of the 2017 UEFA Champions League Final, they toured as special guest for Hollywood superstar Kiefer Sutherland, followed by two open air shows with Zucchero.
In spring 2018, the new album "Into The Less" is now coming produced with Jens-Peter Abele (producer) and Sebastian Specht (co-producer and live mixer) at Tone Temple Studios and Bodega Studio. As part of the album release, Kids of Adelaide will embark on an extensive Germany headlining tour starting April 6, 2018. Dates below.
