Klaus-Jürgen "Knacki" Deuser is certainly Germany's No. 1 comedy coach and one of the most creative minds in the German comedy scene. Formats like NightWash, the ZDF-Neo Comedy-Lab, the 1Live Hörsaal-Comedy, the SWR3 Spasskantine or even the German Stand-up Festival have been developed by him. But as much as he likes to write, coach and produce, his favourite place is and remains the stage. With his programme "Seltsames Verhalten" (Strange Behaviour) he once again presents stand-up at its best.
A man, a microphone and maybe a bar stool - that's all Klaus-Jürgen "Knacki" Deuser needs for his programme of anecdotes, wordplay and curious situation comedy: "Sometimes I dream about how I just walk into an employment office. Then I have the HartzIV application explained to me and then I say: Oh, that's complicated, I'd rather continue working".
With a few surprises and a guest artist in the luggage, the stand-upper shows the audience his view of things. The bottom line: hilarious. American-style stand-up, pared-down and direct.
