You can experience a reunion and listening with Konstantin Wecker this year at the Darmstadt Residence Festival. With the theme of "freedom", the Munich singer-songwriter and his musical statements cannot be missed. After his terrific success at the Festival in 2019, he performs in a trio with the exceptional cellist Fany Kammerlander and his long-time stage partner, the pianist Jo Barnikel. The three musicians combine lyrical, sensitive piano pieces with the delicate, melting sound of the cello, which has always given Konstantin Wecker's songs their own personal touch. Poetry and music may not be able to change the world, but they can give courage to those who want to change it, according to Konstantin Wecker, who has been campaigning for a world without weapons and borders for over 40 years.
