When the heart and the rage in the belly come together.
Kopfecho is a band that is boiling. They need to get out what's on their minds. On their new album "Etwas bleibt" it's holding on. Holding on to memories, to life and to the traces that everyone leaves there. In terms of sound, Kopfecho have remained true to themselves, they make alterna-punk. Their music is sometimes loud, sometimes melodic, sometimes angry and socially critical, sometimes tender or euphoric and full of joie de vivre. But the five-piece band from Düsseldorf around singer Amy is above all a band you have to see live. Their performances are full of energy: The band goes wild, Amy whirls across the stage, sings snotty and shouts out her feelings, but also the tender, vulnerable moments are not missing. Together with their fans the band has grown in the last years. At support shows for, among others, the Broilers, Massendefekt and many festivals like the Open Flair and the Olgas Rock, they have proven that they not only inspire in small clubs, but also on big stages.
