"Meenz goes Hochheim" at the Rhine-Main Cultural Festival: For an entire evening, Meenz songs will be sung in the Hummelpark. With it is Oliver Mager, who has his greatest hits in the luggage. With this, he is guaranteed to conjure up a very "mainzigartige" atmosphere! Oliver Mager, known from the TV-Fastnachtssitzung "Mainz remains Mainz, as it sings and laughs", sings all his well-known Meenzer Gassenhauer such as "We are Mainzer", "Moguntia", "You are en Meenzer", "In love with a city" and a few songs that revolve around life. Since good summer mood is pre-programmed.
Also with it are the Schnorreswackler. Their performances show that the troupe ingeniously masters all the ingredients of a foolish performance even in more modern times, namely courage to new ideas, great singing, witty and fastnachtliche texts, appropriate choreography and the ability to let the famous spark jump over to the audience. They also managed to jump into the well-known television session "Mainz remains Mainz".
The third in the bunch are DobbelBock. These are the Bockius brothers - with dobbel "B" like babbele, Bobbelsche or Bumbes. Since their childhood, the two brothers have been real Lenten eights. They are known especially through the Meenzer Fastnacht stage.
From June 15 to 19, 2022, you can experience four cultural evenings of the extra class! Because finally art and culture come back to life - and with the Frankfurt-Tipp Stage also to Hochheim and thus in the middle of the Rhine-Main area. With the Hummelparkt one of the most beautiful places of the city becomes the impressive scenery for an event full of rousing live music and entertaining performances.
The culture festival Rhine-Main is rounded off by a varied, culinary offer. Exclusive partner of the event is the winery Künstler, which will look after the guests with its range of high-quality wines from the Rheingau, the artist gin and its champagne bar. A food truck will be on hand for hot and cold culinary delights.
