A suspenseful evening is promised by the duo LadyBirds with their program Kriminaltango.
With vocals, piano, saxophone, electric guitar, accordion and percussion, the multi-instrumentalists Heike Michaelis and Susanne Riedl sweep through chanson, pop, rock, jazz, film music and opera.
In addition to their instruments, they also have two hand puppets with them: the enchanting snake diva Celina Python engages in a repartee with her quirky admirer, the man of letters in crocodile form Götz E.
She recites poems by Wedekind, Schiller and Chobot, he raps ballads to groovy piano sounds.
Susanne Riedl chases the bumblebee and the snake diva sings opera. A multi-faceted, fast-paced and humorous evening.
Heike Michaelis studied piano and percussion at the Cologne Academy of Music. She dealt with contemporary music and also toured Germany with the cabaret "Mamma Grappa". For several years she has been working with the Frankfurt children's music theatre maker Ferri.
Susanne Riedl is already developing her music career during her wide-ranging studies at the Frankfurt Musikhochschule.
