Lambchop's history is one of constant change and evolution. What began nearly 30 years ago in Kurt Wagner's basement as an after-work project of friends and was jokingly referred to by themselves as the "most fucked-up country band in Nashville" has since established itself as not only one of the longest-serving bands on the U.S. music scene, but also one of the most innovative. Lambchop has always combined diverse genres such as folk and country with soul and urban electronica to create a unique, inimitable sound. No two Lambchop albums sound alike, but each one always sounds unmistakably Lambchop. In January the new single "Everything for you" was released, in spring the band from Nashville will go on tour, a new album seems to be in the pipeline. The band isn't revealing details yet, though, as always with Lambchop: it remains exciting.
