Evi & the Beast are considered the ambassadors of burlesque entertainment. In 2008, they brought Miss Evi's Company, the first burlesque show to the spotlight of renowned variety stages in Germany. Roncalli's Apollo Varieté and Berlin's Wintergarten also set new attendance records as a result.
Miss Evi - First Lady of Burlesque, is the stunningly witty and quick-witted hostess of the evening. Not only does she make her stars shine brightly, but her stunning voice is also convincing as an absolutely world-class singer. Mr. Leu, who has already achieved cult status as the Animal with his legendary acrobatic interludes at the grand piano, shines equally as a pianist and singer.
For her band The Glanz, Evi & das Tier have brought together the most outstanding musicians of the international Berlin music scene, where eccentric comedy interludes are always to be expected.
