Discover music from around the world and sculptures spanning 5,000 years - and in the middle of Frankfurt! This summer, LIEBIEGHAUS LIVE is all about sounds from around the world, from Latin American grooves to Afro-blues and indie pop. The audience goes on a musical journey around the world in Frankfurt's most beautiful garden and is taken to distant times by art experts in the sculpture collection.
Today's program includes a rousing mix of rock and Armenian folklore. For over 22 years, Frankfurt singer and guitarist Aren Emirze fronted the noiserock formation Harmful. Now, with his acoustic project Emirsian, he proves that he can do things differently: quiet, melancholic and fragile. In his restrained, contemplative songs, exceptional singer/songwriting meets stylistic elements of Armenian folklore - they hover between worlds and genres.
