Discover music from around the world and sculptures spanning 5,000 years - and in the middle of Frankfurt! This summer, LIEBIEGHAUS LIVE is all about sounds from around the world, from Latin American grooves to Afro-blues and indie pop. The audience goes on a musical world tour in Frankfurt's most beautiful garden and is transported to distant times by art experts in the sculpture collection.
Today you can expect Latin American groove, pop, samba, funk with the Ivan Santos Trio: The Ivan Santos Trio brings together the tradition of the Brazilian Northeast with urban "grooves". Ivan Santos plays his own interpretations of Brazilian music: influences from other musical styles find equal space. When the experimental singer-songwriter and lyricist from Brazil plays together with Angela Frontera on drums and percussion and Marc Into on electric bass, samba meets blues, funk meets baião and Indian sitar meets Brazilian ballads.
