Discover music from around the world and sculptures spanning 5,000 years - and in the middle of Frankfurt! This summer, LIEBIEGHAUS LIVE is all about sounds from around the world, from Latin American grooves to Afro-blues and indie pop. The audience goes on a musical trip around the world in Frankfurt's most beautiful garden and is taken to distant times by art experts in the sculpture collection.
Today's program is folk-pop with Romie. Under this alias, the Frankfurt-based Paula and Jule write songs with great love and great talent for harmonies. Starting from the folk of the 1960s, the two borrow any genre they like. Thus they create their own sound - between the harmony vocals of the Staves or Simon & Garfunkel, the playfulness of the Civil Wars and the drama of a Damien Rice. They accompany each other on guitar, piano and ukulele, electric guitar and electric bass.
