The title of her album R3bellin is program. Lina rebels for individuality and wants to encourage everyone to be who they want to be. R3bellin sounds much more grown up, feminine and setting clear themes while still remaining part of Lina's world. Two years ago she started with 'OFFICIAL' at number 12 in the German album charts. At that time LINA was for everyone still the Bibi from the movies, who now also makes a record. Every now and then, in the last few years, she had the feeling that she seemed to be perceived more as the movie heroine and not at all as herself, as Lina. In 2017, on her second album 'EGO', you could already hear a different Lina: more self-confident, more personal, more self-deprecating. "R3bellin" is now the logical third step: fifteen songs that show what really makes Lina tick. Lyrically and musically, the new album is a huge leap forward. You can also tell that Lina is up for playing in the same league as US stars Taylor Swift or Selena Gomez. It's fitting that this year Lina landed a big role in the second season of the Disney series "The Lodge", which is running worldwide with great success. There's no question about it - after two Echo nominations, three albums and an upcoming fourth tour, someone is tinkering with a very stable growing international career.
