Joseph Marioni, born in Cincinnati in 1943, is one of the leading representatives of a radical painting that has devoted itself entirely to color - and here above all to its application and effect. His glazed layers of painting allow for an intense engagement, an almost meditative immersion. With around 40 works, the exhibition traces Marioni's very own path, spanning a period of almost 50 years. It is created in close collaboration with the artist himself:
