From groove and swing, to free, spherical improvisations or classical-like works, anything is possible with Lisa Wulff's compositions. The Hamburg native, who studied bass with Detlev Beier and Lucas Lindholm at the Musikhochschule Bremen and
Hamburg, won the Jazz Baltica Förderpreis with her quartet in 2016 and released her first album "Encounters" in the course of this, which was immediately nominated for the ECHO Jazz. In 2018, the band's current album - "wondrous strange" - was released on LAIKA Records. In addition to her own bands and projects, Lisa Wulff can be heard regularly with the NDR Bigband on electric bass, as well as on double bass, and tours nationally and internationally with artists such as Nils Landgren, Christof Lauer, Rolf Kühn, Caecilie Norby and Wolfgang
Haffner, among others.
