His job was not endangered and well-paid in the field of microchip development in the automotive industry, and yet Dr. PETER OEHLER quit his "job" three years ago: "I kept an office journal for many years. It is clear from this that I have always dreamed of a self-determined and free writer's existence, but never realised it. Later, I got into the habit of going to a coffee shop several times a week after work to write "after-work" notes." From these associatively written sentences, pages and fragments of text, a narrative has emerged about why this change had to happen and how it was set in motion.
