"Let there be light - from the German forest"
Michael Quast from the Volksbühne Frankfurt and Holger Scheel from the forestry Schwanheim of the StadtForst Frankfurt walk on Saturday, 13. August, starting from 13.30 o'clock with all forest and culture-interested by the Schwanheimer forest.
During the approximately three-hour tour, Quast will illustrate the literary side of the forest with texts by Eichendorff, Walser, Mendelssohn and other authors at secluded places and show how deeply the forest is rooted in the soul of the Germans.
But due to the current development will also - in sharp contrast to the forest in the Romantic and freely after the motto "Who has you, you beautiful forest..." - the dramatic situation of Frankfurt's city forest will be addressed. Scheel will show participants what he is doing to give the forest a chance in the future.

Meeting point for the forest walk is the Schwanheim shooting range, Schwanheimer Bahnstraße 115. This can be reached by bus line 62, stop Schwanheimer Wald.
