LOT. Lothar Robert Hansen: born in 1984 in Berlin.
trained in classical piano since the age of 6, Lot starts writing his own songs at the age of 15 and discovers the whole musical world away from classical music. After the separation of his parents, he struggles from the age of 16 together with his sister alone through's life and must learn early to provide for themselves. After graduating from high school and doing community service in a mental institution, the road leads to Leipzig, his new home; until today and probably forever.
Besides the music is studied, music and history. But this is only a sideline, an alibi to continue making his own music. From classical, theatre, jazz, gospel, ska, funk, rock and hip hop, people play in almost every kind of band to earn a living as a pianist. Doing his own thing is the motivation to keep going. Having dropped out of university in the meantime, LOT composes, arranges and writes as much as he can. He supports bands and artists like Bosse, Flo Mega, Plains White T's, Dick Brave and many others and thereby collects more and more stage experience.
After a year in the studio, his first own album is now as good as finished. All in a LOT.
