Lucid's talent for melodies, which give even melancholic moments their own elegance, characterizes intense ballads and light-footed songs. Sometimes catchy, sometimes anthemic, sometimes dreamy, she has already thrilled audiences of Suzanne Vega, My Brightest Diamond, Simone White or Joshua Radin, with whom she has shared the stage in recent years.
While Lucid's music remains free of concrete references, her lyrics at times flirt with allusions. They abstract personal experiences, thoughts on the state of things and course of the world. Even when told in the first person, however, Lucid's poetry is far more than a diary set to music.
