Every two years, parallel to the LIGHT & BULDING trade fair, the city transforms into a huge work of light art for a few days at nightfall. This year, the Luminale will once again inspire you to marvel, laugh, dream and reflect with around 150 large and small installations in Frankfurt and Offenbach.
Highlights this year include the Römerberg, the Old Opera House or even the Carmelite Monastery and St. Catherine's Church. Our tip: Follow the various Light Walks on at least two or more evenings, which allow you to experience as many light art installations as possible in compressed form.
Don't forget good shoes and charged camera batteries!
