Madball is a hardcore punk band hailing from New York and formed in 1988, which set the style for later metalcore groups. Along with Agnostic Front and Sick of It All, Madball is one of the most important representatives of New York hardcore. Singer Freddy Cricien is the half-brother of hardcore legend and Agnostic Front singer Roger Miret.
