Mainfelt - FolkRock from the beautiful Merano region of South Tyrol.
The great Bob Dylan once said that touring was like breathing for him: elemental to the writing of his songs and the continuation of his music. The folk-rock band Mainfelt from South Tyrol has taken up this principle on their new CD "Backwards Around the Sun" and decided to immortalize this universal feeling, this lifestyle of "Life on the Road" in 13 songs. The album is due out December 2 this year.
The band describes their songs as "Handcrafted and Heartmade". With a lot of love for detail, a portion of humanity and an incomparable charm Patrick, Kevin, Veit and Willy present themselves on the new record, which, although the title might suggest it, doesn't look into the past, but rather towards a glorious and successful future. Musicians are sometimes just like good scotch. With time they mature and develop a certain touch that makes them unique. With "Backwards Around the Sun" Mainfelt has succeeded in this every time.
