The premiere of the Mainz Summer Lights 2016 was a complete success! In summery temperatures, visitors enjoyed the event highlight in the heart of Mainz. The varied program with music stages, street food mile, wine village and rides of all kinds was very popular with young and old. The breathtaking fireworks with laser show made the city shine in colorful lights on Saturday evening.
This year, the Mainzer Sommerlichter will again take place on the last weekend in July on the banks of the Rhine with many exciting highlights and musical surprises.
General fun for young and old is not neglected at the Mainzer Sommerlichtern: Rides for young and old stretch along the entire banks of the Rhine. Whether Ferris wheel or carousel - here is something for everyone!
