Reading at KESSELHAUS
If our old buddy Manuel Möglich wouldn't at least show some photos and film clips, you might think that some of the stories he tells never happened that way - but they did. Life writes the craziest stories. Möglich documents them in his TV and net reports as well as in his books. Sometimes from the middle, more often from the fringes of society. Sometimes it's funny, often irritating. Möglich had special encounters in Iran, he traveled to transhumanists in California or to Hitler's supposed birthday party in the Namibian town of Lüderitz. But the Gonzo journalist also knows the blind spots within Europe. He visited the cherry blossom community in Switzerland, notorious for polyamory, LSD and MDMA, lived with system dropouts in the Portuguese "healing biotope" Tamera and fate led him in broad daylight to the bed of a caravan whore at a dreary motorway exit in the provinces. He talks about these and other things tonight. Every now and then he even reads - from his second book "Alles auf Anfang", which was published by Rowohlt earlier this year.
