Part 2 - Imposing, louder, more colorful and with new songs, Mark Forster is coming up with his biggest tour yet in 2019.Mark Forster's third album "TAPE" is brimming with superlatives: Released in June 2016, it achieved triple gold status and produced hit single after hit single. The very first single "WIR SIND GROSS" was the official ZDF song of the European Football Championship and went platinum for more than 500,000 units sold, before follow-up "CHÖRE" repeated the outstanding success. "SOWIESO" also reported gold and simultaneously holds the record as the longest German-language airplay No.1 of all time. Including gold for debut album "KARTON" and double platinum for "BAUCH UND KOPF", a highly impressive collection of precious metal.
The editors of lifestyle magazine GQ named the 33-year-old "Man of the Year 2017" in early November.
Simultaneously with the broadcast of "The Voice of Germany", a format from which Forster can no longer be imagined without and which repeatedly makes a splash with top ratings, he also took over the presentation of the award-winning TV music format "Sing meinen Song - das Tauschkonzert" at the beginning of 2018, succeeding hosts such as Xavier Naidoo and The Boss Hoss. With his current single "LIKA A LION" (feat. Gentleman), he also musically ushered in the summer in April 2018. At the same time, his intimate club tour part 1 sold out within a few days.
