Matthias Nadolny and Bob Degen, masters of the musical double pass, will present their joint CD at Frankfurt's Mousonturm!
Matthias Nadolny, tenor saxophonist and long-time jazz professor at the University of the Arts in Essen, creates his own very personal sound.
His playing on the tenor saxophone is characterized by a tremendous amount of air, while he has almost perfected the fine art of omission.
Bob Degen, an integral part of the Frankfurt jazz scene with American roots, received the Hessian Jazz Prize in 1994 and has been convincing audiences for decades with his skilful playing in the area of tension between tradition and modernity.
