The Matthias Vogt Trio has been in existence since 1999. It forms the core of the band [re:jazz], but has also gone its own way in the reduced trio formation. After two albums (Changing Colours & Coming Up For Air), several EPs, collaborations with Roger Cicero, Till Brönner or Liza Da Costa, and numerous concerts together, the three make music in dreamlike certainty. The trio is on the move in the area of tension between club jazz and deconstruction of pop songs.
