Tex, the creator of "TV Noir", the "living room of songwriters", presents itself as a mixture of live music, talk, play and interaction with the audience. The format is recorded in Berlin's Admiralspalast, distributed via the Internet and has also been broadcast on ZDFkultur and ARTE.
"TV Noir makes possible what you can't do anywhere on TV these days. That the art is in the foreground, that music is being made," Clueso has written into the creators' master book. So that the rest of the nation is not only served by canned music, singer/songwriter and presenter Christoph Drieschner alias Tex is also going on tour with "TV Noir". For today's date, he has invited Matze Rossi. "It's a shame that the term 'soul music' has already been taken elsewhere, because actually that's exactly what Tex and I do," says Rossi. "It is, after all, quite authentic, pared-down, but also intense and powerful music."
