In the mid-90s, the Cuban artist left Castro's island state. Now she's returning. In a dance solo that intertwines her own biography with political upheavals. It illuminates the exploitation of a hated country on which Westerners throw their exotic projections, while the inhabitants often want nothing more than to leave. With composer and live sampler Michio Woirgardt, Morales tells of swimming against the tide.
